9 proven ways to deal with pimples

9 sprawdzonych sposobów na wypryski

You have an important meeting coming up, and suddenly a pimple appears in the middle of your chin? Don't worry, you don't have to wear a turtleneck or wrap yourself in a thick scarf. In today's post, you'll find nine proven home remedies that will help you destroy your enemy in no time. What's more, all the ingredients listed below are cheap, easily available, and you probably already have them on hand.

Tea tree oil

Natural tea tree oil has antifungal and antibacterial properties, and also has strong anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. This makes it an excellent spot treatment for pimples. Simply pour a small amount of the oil onto a cotton swab and dab the area where the pimple is forming. You can repeat this several times a day, but be careful not to apply the oil to healthy skin, as it can dry it out. The pimple will quickly shrink in size and become lighter, leaving you free to apply makeup.

Honey

Honey has strong antibacterial, cleansing, moisturizing, and smoothing properties, making it a fantastic ingredient in the fight against breakouts. Simply apply a small amount of honey to the affected area and repeat this several times a day. It will quickly reduce its size, reduce redness, and prevent dry skin.

Aspirin

Aspirin is a remedy that's not only effective against colds. It also has a fantastic effect on our skin! This is all thanks to the acetylsalicylic acid it contains, a derivative of salicylic acid, which is excellent for problem skin. Pour a little water (a teaspoon at most) over two or three tablets and wait for it to dissolve. The result is a thick paste that you can apply to your pimples. Leave it on for about fifteen minutes, until it dries completely, then rinse it off. The difference is visible to the naked eye! Inflammation is reduced, and your skin looks much better.

Apple cider vinegar

Natural apple cider vinegar has a wide range of benefits. It has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, reduces sebum production, and accelerates the healing of inflammation. Apple cider vinegar toner is the best way to combat blemishes. Simply mix four tablespoons of water with one tablespoon of vinegar and mix thoroughly. Wipe your face with this homemade mixture once a day (you can also use it topically). Any blemishes will disappear much faster and will also stop appearing as often. The toner also works wonders on all types of discoloration.

Ice

Cold compresses and ice cube massages may not completely eliminate the pimple, but they will certainly soothe the inflammation and reduce redness. The low temperature will reduce swelling and improve the condition of your skin. Simply wrap a clean cloth around an ice cube and apply it to the developing pimple several times a day. It's a good idea to always have a bag ready in the freezer.

Aloe

Aloe vera gel can be a real lifesaver for our skin. It not only moisturizes wonderfully, but also accelerates the healing of blemishes, soothes irritation, and reduces redness. Furthermore, it reduces the risk of discoloration, so if you have problem skin, you can use the gel both locally and all over your face. If you have a potted aloe vera plant at home, it's worth squeezing the juice from its leaves and applying it to the inflamed area. It will work just as well.

Onion

It turns out that onions not only help fight colds but are also excellent for treating eczema. Our great-grandmothers used compresses made from this vegetable. Onions have strong antibacterial properties, accelerate the healing of inflammation, and help combat discoloration and scars. It's worth trying this remedy for yourself. Simply slice the onion and simmer for 5 minutes. Then, apply a warm (not hot) compress to the pimples and leave it on for about 15 minutes. Repeat this treatment twice a day.

Lemon

Lemon has antibacterial and antifungal properties, making it an excellent choice for treating pimples. Simply dab a little lemon juice on the infected area two or three times a day, and you'll quickly see results. Pimples will shrink in size, swelling and redness will disappear, and you'll also minimize the risk of scarring and discoloration.

Turmeric

This spice isn't just useful in the kitchen; it also helps with skincare. It has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, so it quickly clears up skin blemishes. Just mix a little turmeric with water to create a thick paste. Then, apply this paste to your pimples and let it dry. Even the largest breakouts will heal much faster!

Before using any of the above-mentioned ingredients, remember that despite their health-promoting, valuable properties, they can also cause allergies or irritations, so before applying them to the entire face, it is worth doing a spot test.
