We dream of smooth, imperfection-free skin. We constantly search for the perfect cosmetics, test new products, apply creams, and read ingredient lists – in short, we strive to take care of ourselves as best we can. However, we don't always realize that some of our daily habits can also impact the condition of our skin. It's worth taking a moment to reflect on this topic. A small change can have a surprising and positive effect. So, be sure to familiarize yourself with the habits below, and if you don't already practice them, try to make them a habit. You'll notice the difference very quickly.
Wash your brushes regularly
If we use makeup brushes every day, cleaning them regularly is essential. Foundation brushes should be washed after each use. It's best not to know how much bacteria they collect, and none of us wants to rub them on our face, right? Dust also simply settles on the bristles throughout the day, so we either wash our tools regularly or don't use them at all.
Daily makeup removal
Skin regenerates best at night. This is its time to rest, so let it do so. No matter how tired you are or how late the clock shows. Proper makeup removal is the foundation of beautiful, well-groomed, and properly cared for skin. Besides, you don't want mascara crumbs getting in your eyes and causing an infection. If you're feeling tired in the evening, a good solution is to remove your makeup as soon as you get home. It only takes a few minutes and has a huge impact on the condition of your skin.

Not touching your face during the day
The habit of touching our faces throughout the day is a fairly common problem among women. It's worth breaking this habit. Our hands are a hotbed of invisible germs; we rest our chin on our hands, or we leave all our batteries on our faces while working at a desk. Sounds unpleasant, right? Sometimes we don't connect the dots, and very often, we have the most imperfections in the area where our skin touches our hands.
Paper towel instead of traditional one
The bathroom is typically a rather damp room. Traditional towels don't dry very quickly and, moreover, they tend to gather dust. Therefore, the most hygienic solution is to use disposable mini paper towels, which can be thrown away immediately. They come in convenient packaging, making it easy to remove each individual piece. This change can yield surprising results in a relatively short time.

Leaving pimples alone
The large enemy in the center of the chin is tempting, but try to avoid squeezing. Poking at pimples, especially those with pus, only increases the risk of spreading them across the face. We also risk scabbing and scarring, which can be very difficult to deal with later. It's better to apply a special ointment or zinc paste to the affected area and wait for it to disappear on its own.
Not forgetting the neck and décolleté
We systematically slather creams on our faces, but unfortunately, many women neglect to moisturize their neck and décolleté regularly. The skin in this area is thin, delicate, and exposed to sunlight. Furthermore, it ages very quickly. So let's take care of it, lest it one day call us out on our age or add another decade to our age.
Taming the eye cream
Many women assume that they should only use eye cream when the first wrinkles appear. No, prevention is better than cure. Cream isn't magic; it won't eliminate existing wrinkles; it can only slightly reduce them. After all, the eyes are the windows to the soul, so let's not neglect the area around them. Invest in a well-moisturizing cream and apply it at least once a day.

Face washed last
If we plan to wash both our hair and face, we always reach for facial cleanser last. It's possible to rinse shampoo or conditioner incorrectly, which can lead to a rash of blemishes around the hairline. Many people don't realize that pimples or rashes in these areas are the result of improperly removing hair products.
Change your pillowcase regularly
It's becoming increasingly common to mention that pillowcases should be changed regularly. They retain not only sebum from our face but also from our hair, which isn't pleasant for our skin. Besides, imagine rolling around in bed, rubbing the remains of two days' worth of dried cream or hair oil into your face. Brr!
Phone disinfection
We live in an age where our smartphones are our third hand. It's important to keep them clean, especially when we spend long and frequent conversations with loved ones. If you've noticed a rash of baddies regularly appearing on your cheek, consider whether it might be related to your phone. Unfortunately, wiping the screen on your sleeve or pant leg won't do the trick. You'll need antibacterial gel or LCD screen cleaner for this. Fortunately, these are readily available.
