Glamping, or camping in a luxurious version

Glamping, czyli kemping w wersji luksusowej

Can a camping holiday in the lap of nature, while enjoying complete comfort and luxury, go hand in hand? Well, as it turns out, yes! Discover glamping, or luxury camping. The latest trend taking southern Europe by storm.

As we age, we think less and less about spending time camping. We often choose hotels, places where we can relax without worrying about clean towels or dishes waiting to be washed in the sink. We value comfort and convenience. However, it's also a pleasure to spend time outdoors, surrounded by nature. To satisfy the most discerning travelers, a luxury camping trend, known as glamping, has emerged. Glamping is a portmanteau of the terms "glamor" and "camping." In the United States and Great Britain, this trend is much more well-known. Local celebrities, making headlines, prefer this type of relaxation. It combines comfort with the wildness of nature.

Camping has become a thing of the past

Camping used to be associated with a damp tent, an uncomfortable mattress, and canned food. Of course, such a getaway had its advantages, not least being a simple and inexpensive way to spend a family vacation. The presence of many people around provided the opportunity to make friends, if not for life, then certainly for the rest of the trip. However, in recent years, this has begun to change. Tents are becoming increasingly spacious, heavier, and significantly more luxurious. When the first family tents were introduced to the market, they were met with widespread admiration. You could stand comfortably inside them, whereas the "poorer" versions required crawling into them. At the same time, family tents were relatively small when packed away. They stole the hearts of many, and thus a new trend was born...

Luxury and joy – offers for demanding customers

Those who choose glamping can expect truly luxurious conditions: spacious tents where you sleep not on sleeping mats but on large, genuine beds. Instead of folding chairs, there's elegant wooden furniture and running water. You can also forget about stocking up on canned goods, as a refrigerator and stove are standard equipment in such a tent. Besides luxurious accommodations, glamping also offers a wealth of amenities for the whole family. Not only is it about spending time outdoors, but also a team of entertainers who will keep the kids entertained.

Everything has its pros and cons. The world moves so fast that sometimes we can't keep up with the trends that await us. The adage of "having your cake and eating it too" is becoming very common, and it seems some people are eager to live by it. However, is it really possible to reconcile true camping with luxury? Doesn't one come at the expense of the other? It's worth considering whether it's really worth having your cake and constantly gorging on it. :)
