Light makeup for spring – highlighted eyes and coral lips

Lekki makijaż na wiosnę – podkreślone oczy i koralowe usta

In spring, it's worth ditching full-coverage foundations in favor of lightweight, illuminating formulas. After winter, skin is often more tired and dull. It's easy to add radiance with makeup. In today's look, I opted for highlighted eyes and a coral lipstick. The makeup is simple and quick to create. I hope you enjoy my tutorial.

Spring makeup step by step

Step 1: Primer

Even out your skin tone with a mineral foundation that doesn't weigh down the skin and conceals imperfections. Apply the mineral foundation with a flat-top brush , which provides medium coverage and a natural finish.

For this makeup look, I combined two foundation formulas—matte and illuminating. This leaves the face looking light and radiant.

Step 2: Eyebrows

In every makeup look, remember to emphasize your eyebrows. They frame the face and add definition. Apply eyebrow shadow with an angled brush, and brush out any excess shadow with an eyebrow brush.

Step 3: Eyelid

Apply a pink-peach eyeshadow to the entire eyelid. This color makes the eyes look more rested. I used Annabelle Minerals mineral eyeshadow in the shade Candy .

Darken the outer corner of your eye with a brown shadow, Annabelle Minerals Chocolate . Apply the shadow with a fluffy brush to the outer corner and crease of your eyelid, blending it into a fine mist. This shading will visually enlarge your eyes.

In turn, highlight the lower eyelid with the same shade that you applied to the upper eyelid, i.e. Annabelle Minerals Chocolate .

Step 6: Eyebrow Arch

Highlight your brow bone with the beige-cream Annabelle Minerals Vanilla shadow. Apply the same shade to the inner corner of your eye as well. This will open up your eyes and make them appear brighter.

Then, darken your lash line with a black pencil, apply mascara, and apply a nude pencil to your lower waterline.

Step 6: Contouring

After applying eye makeup, it's time to contour. Apply bronzer under the cheekbones and highlight the cheeks with blush. Go for subtle, understated contouring, which should brighten the complexion without creating any pronounced lines. Blend everything out with an angled brush.

Apply lipstick and lip gloss. I chose a coral shade that complements my warm complexion. You can use a nude lipstick or another intense shade. With this eye makeup look, anything goes. Radiant skin, defined eyes, and a warm lipstick – that's my makeup suggestion for warmer spring days. What does your spring makeup look like?
