There's room for both intense lip hues and bold, graphic lines. What else is trending in makeup trends during the hottest time of year?

Gold, brown and earth tones

Brown has taken over summer makeup for good. It can appear in the form of golden eyelids, shimmering bronzer, beige lips, chocolate eyeliner, sandy smokey eyes, or a total look – in any makeup look. It's the most universal of trends, as it suits almost every beauty type, complexion, and occasion. It looks beautiful on both lightly sun-kissed skin and on girls who diligently apply sunscreen and don't enjoy tanning. Girls, we're loving brown this summer! :)

Blueness

Graphic line

Graphic eyeliner has been a hit for many seasons, but it's in the summer that they transform from black to vibrant greens, oranges, pinks, or cornflower blues. Just choose the right lipstick shade, and there are plenty to choose from. From oranges and fuchsia pinks to poppy reds and intense purples. It's worth remembering that the colorful lips should be paired with delicate, muted eyelids, preferably in a nude shade. Let nothing distract from the beautiful lip color.

The bright lip trend lends itself to subtle eye makeup. You can create this look with mineral eyeshadows like Vanilla, Ice Cream, Candy, or Platinum, while a thin line along the upper lashes can be created with the Smoky eyeshadow.

What else is fashionable this season?

• Full matte or semi-matte , meaning either makeup without a hint of shimmer or with subtle highlights on the cheeks, under the brow bone, above the lips, or on the bridge of the nose. The overall look should be earthy tones and in keeping with the brown trend.
• Freckles and... facial markings. While the first part of the trend is understandable—freckles are charming and rejuvenating—the second part is probably best left to the realm of fashion runways. Nevertheless, we applaud the designers for their creativity.
• No-makeup makeup is a trend that returns almost every season, and rightly so. Soft, healthy-looking, radiant, and well-rested skin should always be in style.
• Expressive and thick eyebrows – well-groomed eyebrows are a staple of all makeup looks presented on fashion runways. Makeup artists are well aware of how important they are in framing the eyes and facial features. Thick, pigment-filled eyebrows are an essential element, especially for eyelids with graphic lines or smokey eyes.
• Lipstick smudged beyond the lip contour – it turns out that carelessly applied lipstick can be a trend. This is a welcome relief for all of us who apply color in the morning, in a hurry. Simply rub the matte lipstick firmly into the center of the lips with your finger, and then smudge any remaining color slightly beyond the lip contour.
