Holiday outfits are special because they highlight special moments. Holiday outfits, manicures, and makeup—we want to look phenomenal on Christmas Eve and later at New Year's Eve parties. When we know we look good and appropriate for the occasion, our mood and attitude are also positive. We've been feeling the holiday spirit for several weeks now, and we hope you do too, so we're presenting holiday makeup that can inspire you on these special days.

Our festive look follows the trend for bold eye makeup. The eyelid is covered in a beautiful, intense green with a multitude of sparkling particles. The eyebrows provide the contour. The overall look is elegant and striking, but the makeup isn't overly time-consuming or requires any special skills. The color palette, while seemingly challenging, suits many skin tones. We encourage you not to be afraid of green in your makeup!
We start with the makeup. The first step is smoothing and setting, using the Pretty Neutral clay primer. This will ensure the foundation will withstand long holiday hours at the table, family greetings, and rubbing against winter scarves. It will also last longer with a matte finish. The next step is the foundation. For this look, we chose the Annabelle Minerals Illuminating Foundation. It provides medium coverage and, in artificial light, creates a radiant and rested effect. A concealer matched to the foundation shade will conceal any imperfections, and the cheeks will be accentuated with a Honey blush, which will complement the vibrant eyelids. For additional illumination, we sweep a bit of Pretty Glow Illuminating Powder over the face.

For special occasions like the holidays or New Year's Eve, don't be afraid of glowing skin. Royal Glow Mineral Highlighter in a rich gold shade should generously adorn your skin on all the high points of your face, including your cheekbones, the center of your forehead, the tip of your nose, your Cupid's bow, and the tip of your chin.
Time for eye makeup. First, prepare the base by applying a small amount of Pretty Glow Illuminating Powder. This will create a perfect foundation for the color pigment, conceal minor dark circles, and brighten the eye area. Apply the powder to the eyelids and under-eye circles. Next up, fill in the eyebrows – if needed, fill them in with the middle shade from the Brow Like Wow eyebrow palette.

The proper eye makeup is the Mint mineral eyeshadow. Carefully apply it to the entire eyelid, up to the movable eyelid, and highlight the lower eyelid. To add shimmer and wow factor to the eye, layer the Mint eyeshadow with the Royal Glow mineral highlighter. Apply the same highlighter to the inner corner of the eye.

The holiday makeup is almost complete. The finishing touches are well-coated lashes and a matte brown lipstick.
