Beautiful skin after winter – how to do it?

Piękna skóra po zimie – jak to zrobić?

The weather outside is increasingly pampering us. Soon, we'll be shedding our warmer layers and reacquainting ourselves with dresses and lightweight T-shirts. But what can we do when our skin is less than perfect after winter? Can we achieve beautiful skin and a firm body without expensive treatments and cosmetics? Yes! We just need to learn the secrets of nature.

What do pineapple and wrinkles have in common?

We rarely consider how and why wrinkles appear on our skin. We usually blame age, but is that the only reason for uneven skin tone? What else can accelerate the aging process?

First of all, it's worth taking a closer look at wrinkles themselves. They form when the supply of biosubstances to the skin and connective tissue is disrupted. As a result, cells age, become diseased, and ultimately die, forming protein and old cholesterol deposits in the subcutaneous tissue, which harden and grow. However, these are just the beginnings of wrinkles, so to prevent them from enlarging and forming new ones, it's worth avoiding anything that causes them, such as excessive exposure to sunlight. Although the sun helps ensure adequate levels of vitamin D in our bodies, prolonged exposure to sunlight can accelerate the skin aging process and the formation of new wrinkles.

Pineapple, or more precisely, one of the substances it contains—bromelain—can be a good way to get rid of uneven skin. It breaks down protein, reducing deposits under the skin. It also soothes inflammation, helps treat varicose veins, and increases the supply of valuable amino acids to connective tissue. It's recommended to consume two servings (glasses) of natural pineapple juice, preferably between main meals.

Alphabet of beauty

Supple skin is the reason we're prone to expensive firming treatments and cosmetics. Often, we don't even realize that the solution is practically at our fingertips. We're talking about vitamin C and zinc, ingredients essential for maintaining proper skin elasticity. These substances contribute to the regeneration of collagen, the main protein in connective tissue responsible for skin elasticity. Furthermore, vitamin C ensures the proper functioning of blood vessels and improved blood circulation throughout the body, which in turn translates into more efficient nutrient distribution. Zinc is found primarily in whole-grain bread, wheat bran, and seeds such as sunflower and pumpkin. Vitamin C, on the other hand, is a source of all fresh fruits and vegetables – preferably those in season.

It's worth getting to know nature better to be able to benefit from it for your health and beauty!
