The recipe for beauty hidden in oil

Przepis na piękno ukryty w oleju

Can oil help maintain beauty and ensure healthy-looking skin? Of course! We're talking about coconut oil, obtained from the fruit of the palm tree, also known as coconuts. The palm tree itself is called the tree of a thousand uses in Malaysian, thanks to the wide range of uses for each part of the plant. Products made from it include palm wine, palm cabbage—pickled palm leaves—ropes, brushes, roofing materials, kayaks, and many more. Palm oil has found applications in virtually every sphere of life—from construction to cooking and cosmetics, which we'll dwell on for a while to highlight the valuable benefits of coconut oil for beauty and health.

Coconut oil on a plate…

Coconut oil is primarily known for its valuable health properties, which are successfully used in cooking. It's worth noting that the fatty acids contained in the oil—lauric, capric, caprylic, and myristic—are medium-chain fatty acids that effectively reduce the risk of atherosclerosis, heart attack, and degenerative disease. Furthermore, our body later converts the oil into monolauric acid, which improves our resistance to bacteria, viruses, and all microorganisms. Caprylic acid has a similar ability, also having antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal properties without sterilizing the body. The oil is ideal for baking, frying, and cooking, as it retains its nutritional value.

…and in the cosmetic bag

Using this gift of nature from the inside doesn't just have positive effects on the body. The oil also works well as a natural cosmetic, guaranteeing beautiful and healthy-looking skin and hair. Applying the oil to the body immediately after bathing will provide long-lasting nourishment to dry skin, while also adding desired softness and delicacy. Furthermore, thanks to its valuable nutrients, it has anti-aging properties, which are indispensable for reducing wrinkles, preventing new ones from forming, and eliminating existing discolorations. The oil effectively protects against UV radiation and provides relief from bites and burns, which is perfect during the warmer months. People struggling with scalp problems should try the oil as soon as possible, because, as mentioned earlier, the acids it contains have strong antifungal properties that effectively combat dandruff. Additionally, using it as a mask in the form of a compress ensures healthy and shiny hair from root to tip. It's also worth noting that this product, when used as a specially formulated toothpaste, is excellent at combating cavities and oral infections. It's very easy to make, so it can easily replace traditional toothpaste.
