Sunshine, warmth, blooming flowers, lush greenery – do you love this kind of weather as much as we do? Although it's still chilly outside, we can take small steps to bring us a little closer to spring. How? You can buy colorful flowers, change up your accessories, and add a splash of color to your wardrobe and makeup. We're very passionate about makeup, so we're presenting a beauty tip to liven up the monotony of the transitional period – pink makeup, with a delicate pop of color on the eyelids and a luscious fuchsia lip. Let's break the spell of these low temperatures!
We start our makeup routine by prepping our face. We pat our light Soft Cream moisturizer onto cleansed and toned skin. If your skin is suffering from severe dryness due to frost and dry air, we can add a drop of Stay Calm oil to the cream. It will enrich the product and soothe irritation and unpleasant tightness. Next, we apply a small amount of Pretty Neutral clay primer to prime and set the makeup, mineral concealer for redness, and finally, foundation. For this look, we chose a full-coverage mineral foundation mixed with a small amount of illuminating foundation. We apply it with a damp Mint Softie sponge to achieve maximum coverage, even out the complexion, and at the same time bring out a subtle glow.
We also apply a small amount of illuminating foundation to the eye area - this step will help to slightly conceal dark circles under the eyes, veins and discolorations, optically brighten the look and create a suitable base for mineral eye shadows.
We finish our face makeup with contouring. We use mattifying foundation in the shade Golden Medium (as a bronzer), Rose blush, and Diamond Glow highlighter.
Start your eye makeup by defining your eyebrows with shades from the Brow Like Wow eyebrow palette and applying three eyeshadows: the first,Margarita, is applied to the entire eyelid. Do this wet to intensify the color. Accentuate your lower lid with Cappuccino eyeshadow. Finally, line your eyelid with Smoky eyeshadow. For the more daring, or for an evening look, you can also line your waterline with a beautiful, light purple eyeliner.
We accentuate the inner corner of the eye with the shimmering Diamond Glow mineral highlighter, which will give the makeup a fresh and unique character.
Finally, we apply mascara to our eyelashes, and for a special occasion, we apply a few tufts of mascara and paint our lips a bright fuchsia color.
